Yes, I know it is silly, but I think it's cute. Enjoy!!!

Really, it's not messy at all to me, and I'll be damned if I can paint something only half as complete and good-looking in such a short period of time.
I like the painting style in this. You can see a bit that it was done more quickly than most of your other work, but that's not a bad thing. Less time and effort went into getting all the details perfect. Sometimes, this lack of perfection can create beauty in its own right. You can see the strokes of the brush clearly in some parts of the picture. It tells a bit about how you work, about how this picture was made, and I think that's cool.
I guess the best thing I can compare it to are the mood piece writings I do sometimes. I type something down on the spur of the moment, in less than an hour's time, right from the heart, no planning, no editing, just a short spell-check before posting it. Something like that is never perfect; it always has flaws. I think this speed paint is kind of like it. Not polished, but very you, and you should be proud of it for that.
I know exactly what you mean. I actually really like seeing the more rushed pieces from other artists that I admire... I just don't like it myself. I suppose it is because I am itching to fix it up as I normally would, and I already know the exact methods I would use to do it. However, when I see other artists achieve such things, I feel like it is a gateway into their imagination. I really like the sketchy look with rough brushstrokes... Wouldn't have considered it from that point of view if it weren't for you.
Thanks very much for the insightful comment! Makes me feel better about going with the flow and trusting my intuition... Two very important aspects to all branches of art, including writing.
Glad I could open your eyes for this point of view then.
As always, you're very welcome. I enjoy looking at your art, and I enjoy writing something down about stuff I enjoy. It's a win-win for both of us.
for something that's rushed it still looks great. o.o
you did a lovely job on him.^^
