Here's my little tribute to Sonic's anniversary today. I would have done more if I had the time, but this will have to do for now. Had this done since yesterday, but I couldn't wait any longer!

Happy Birthday, you awesome blue thing you. We love you, Sonic! :"D

(Please don't complain that Sonic looks different than usual, it's just my style!)

Edit: I should probably explain that Sonic is holding a remote detonator that Tails made. He used it on a certain "bad egg," hence the timer being at zero! ;)
BG created almost entirely in Photoshop, taking about 3 hours. Character drawn in Autodesk Stetchbook Pro and colored in Paint Tool Sai, taking another few hours or so.

It sorta looks like a stopwatch, like he's trying to see if he can beat Eggman any faster than last time.

It would be funny if he actually timed himself and got upset when he didn't beat his "high score"!

Wait, don't the games already do that for him?

It was meant to be a remote detonator with a countdown timer on it. This is what caused the Death Egg to go up in flames and crash down to the world below.
