So you're probably wondering just what the heck you're looking at... Well, I'm not certain myself, but I can say that the title (albeit simple) does tell a bit of the story here. Interpret as you wish!
Thanks for looking, and I hope you like it. As usual, this concept can be used as an HD widescreen wallpaper. No need to ask permission, you are free to use it on your desktop.

You've done a beautiful job here, and I'm afraid that's all I can say
I think this is my favorite one among your uploaded concepts. They're all really cool and atmospheric, like concept art for a game, a little dark and very intriguing. I like this one especially because of its magical atmosphere. It's dark, too, but the many sources of light make it stand out to me.
The building looks really interesting, with the way the sky behind it is so bright, and yet the house shields the path leading to it from this light. Quite often, when something is seen in direct back light like this, it'll appear black to the eye, or at least very dark. In this mysterious building, we can still see a lot of details, including this glowy door that beckons us to go down the path and see what's hiding behind it.
The glowing mushrooms are awesome. You know I think you do glow effects really well, and these mushrooms just happen to glow in one of my favorite colors. I might be a little biased towards them because of that. But even without my liking for this glow aside, I think it was executed really well and it adds another touch of mystery and magic to the picture.
It took me a while to notice the characters. The bright sky, the building and path towards it, and of course the glowing mushrooms and other pinpricks of light drew a lot of attention at first. But then I did find them and was like 'Oh, hey guys'. They blend in with the scenery pretty well, and I think that's a good thing for this picture in particular. They look almost shy and hesitant, hovering in the corner, looking down the way to the house as if they are wondering whether or not to go down it.
This is a quite interesting and inspiring piece of art once again. Great job.
Feedback like this is really important to me. Glad to hear this piece was reminiscent of concept art for a video game! I keep pushing myself further to get closer in that direction as I go.
I struggled a bit with the building. I wanted it to appear hazy in the distance, yet backlit, whilst also retaining detail. Very confusing! What you see there is a lazy mix of the three, but I'm glad you liked the outcome.
Glowing mushrooms are one of my favorite things, ever. Heck, glowy things in general catch my eye. That said, you can be biased all you want, hehe.
As usual, I started with my environment. I wasn't exactly certain how or where I'd position my characters at first, but it eventually all came together as the piece progressed. I'm glad they didn't stand out, honestly! Though if they are too hidden, that may be something to look out for in future work.
Thanks for the comment!
that background looks so awesome. And I love those glowing mushrooms. X3 Especially since you drew them so well, they actually look like they could be real.^^
you did a really nice job on Zim and the robot as well. The robot actually looks kinda cute. =3
Maybe someday. Though I don't even know if it's at all showing in my country. Can't remember seeing it before.
Thanks so much!!
Ding ding ding! You got it perfectly. That is precisely what I was going for. Eeeee, I'm so glad someone figured it out! >w<
Thanks again, hun!
